Out of the box, this machine will help you create some great espresso. Pair it with a good burr grinder and you are already on your way to making drinks that put high street chains to shame. The milk frother is great for making latte, and a few scoops of chocolate powder will get you to mocha mecca. There is a huge modding community out there for this unit, so when you’ve got to grips with your machine, you can consider some of the upgrades or modifications to turn this machine into something that rivals units twice it’s price. The blue version looks great. The blue version looks great.

I replaced my ancient Delonghi with a JuraA1, which sadly was a disaster. The only thing worse than the machine was the customer service, and so I returned it (fortunately I bought it from John Lewis so no issues there). So I spent hours researching lower end prosumer machines, watching endless YouTube reviews. As anyone else who does likewise will discover the Gaggia Classic Pro is always right up there, and so I bought one. Great service from CafeItalia, the machine arrived promptly as promised. Wonderful machine, having great fun practicing with it. Really love it and I would recommend both the machine and the company to anyone wanting a decent espresso machine. If you want great coffee I recommend going Italian.

This is my first espresso machine and I was quite nervous because it seemed a lot to pay for my daily coffee. Because of this I tried to do my research and felt that this is reliable and made good coffee, even for a beginner, but with scope to develop more skill. I also wanted a machine that can be repaired if necessary and used for many years, even if it is slightly less fancy looking than some others. The design is midnight blue which is understated and stylish, even in my cluttered kitchen! Cafe Italia got back to me straight away by phone, if I left a message, and replied to e-mails. This reassured me that this company want to clarify questions and help their customers. It arrived very well packaged and I am getting to know how to use it. A bit guilty still about the cost but happy too. Thank you
