THE NEW RANCILIO SILVIA PRO X MODEL
The Rancilio group, leader in the production and distribution of professional coffee machines, expands the Silvia range with the new Rancilio Silvia Pro X which guarantees advanced and innovative performance and a new availability of colors. The new Rancilio Silvia Pro X has been designed for espresso lovers who want to try a barista experience at home with professional-level equipment.
THE TECHNOLOGY OF THE SILVIA PRO X
The new Silvia Pro X incorporates the main features of the PRO model but enhances its extraction and control functions to ensure a top-level barista experience. Silvia Pro X has a double boiler configuration that allows it to perform steam extraction and production operations with constant temperature control. The extraction boiler has a capacity of 0.3 liters while the steam boiler has a capacity of 1 liter. The PID controller, installed on each boiler, allows you to manage the main beverage preparation functions by separately controlling the two dispensing and steam generation temperatures. All operations are managed by means of simple dispensing commands within a digital display complete with automatic dispensing timer.
The new Pro X also features the Variable Soft Infusion feature whereby the coffee disc is gently immersed in low pressure water for up to six seconds before reaching normal brewing pressure. This function guarantees a greater opening of the pores of the ground coffee to be able to reach different taste profiles, playing with the elements of acidity and with the body of the drink inside the cup. On a technical level, the machine starts the extraction process by gently releasing the water without any pressure. Only after the set period has elapsed, the machine starts to increase the pressure allowing you to better control the extraction and customize the final flavor of your coffee. Rancilio has updated the ergonomics of the filter holder in the Silvia Pro model to the popular RS1 design found on some professional models.
The other features, also present on the PRO model, consist of the height-adjustable tray, the hot water tap, and the high-performance steam wand made of stainless steel.
