DESCRIPTION
The Crown Espresso Grinder is built in polished stainless steel, as is the internal supporting structure. This is not only creating a machine with an extreme stamina, but also making it easy to keep the machine clean and looking as new. In addition to this, is the grinder extremely fast and can fill a double porta filter in 2.8 sec. The revolutionary element of this grinder is however how the coffee beans are processed. Ordinarily are the coffee beans crushed, but in this grinder the beans are cut. By cutting the beans instead of crushing them, the grounded coffee gets a bigger surface area. This means that you will get much more of the pure taste of coffee, when brewing cut beans instead of crushed.
The grinder holds approx. 950g of coffee beans. There are 2 different types of the Crown Espresso Grinder. One being the M65 version, with a “grind-on-demand” function. Grinding when you press start and stopping when you press stop. The other, the A65 version, is an automatic multifunctional grinder. The Crown Espresso Grinder A65 has 3 different preset functions; Espresso grind, Press grind & Filter grind. These presets can of course be altered to your wishes of the degree of grinding you desire for each type of brewing.
On each side of the top panel is a button, which allows for an extreme fine tuning of the grind. This gives you a unique opportunity to truly experiment with your coffee experience and taste. Besides these presets, the grinder can be furthered adjusted to how large a portion you desire. Pres on the black button to the left and you will get a small dosage, whereas the black button on the right will get you a large dosage. When choosing a small dosage in the espresso grind you will get enough for a single porta filter. Choosing the large dosage in the espresso grind, you will get enough for a double porta filter.
Choosing the small dosage on the filter grind, you will get enough for ½ a pot, whereas the large dosage will be enough for 1 pot. On the press grind you will get enough for a small press pot when choosing the small dosage, whereas the large dosage will provide enough grounded coffee for a larger press pot. The Crown Espresso Grinders is extremely quiet, making it ideal for usage in both private homes and public cafés and restaurants.
